Singapore’s Ministry of Education Adaptive Learning System (ALS), powered by Adaptemy’s technology, has been selected as one of ten international examples featured in the World Digital Education Alliance’s 2026 publication, Best Practices in AIED: Scenario-Driven AI Plus Education Transformation.
Announced at the World Digital Education Conference in Hangzhou, the selection followed a global call attracting more than 500 submissions. WDEA’s evaluation considered practical implementation, measurable results, ethical responsibility and sustainability. Read the official announcement.
For Adaptemy, this is a proud moment in our partnership with Singapore’s Ministry of Education—and recognition of the work its team has done to bring personalised learning into everyday education.
Launched in 2023, ALS is integrated into Singapore’s national Student Learning Space. WDEA reports that the system is available to approximately 150,000 students in selected subjects and grades, using machine learning to recommend personalised learning pathways.
Delivering this kind of experience requires learning science, curriculum expertise and technology to work together. Students arrive with different starting points, encounter different difficulties and progress at different rates. An adaptive learning system needs to respond to those differences while supporting the educational goals that teachers and curriculum designers have set.
